Andre's Cajun Cracklins

1. Dont judge a book by its cover... 2. So good I had to visit twice... We stopped by on our way to Flroida from Texas, and we arrived right when they opened. Unfortunately, a by-product of that was the cracklins weren't quite ready yet, so we got the regular boudin balls and the jalapeno cream cheese boudin balls... I was so blown away at the 100% pure awesomeness of this food that 1. I made it about three miles down the road, turned around, and went back for more and 2. I arranged our whole trip back home to Texas so I could arrive later in the day to hopefully try some of their cracklins, and boy, oh boy, i wasn't disappointed.... They were crispy, full of Cajun flavor and nice and warm....

This roadside shack has THE BEST gar balls I can find! Their cracklings are dry, but if that's the kind you like, these may be for you! (I prefer the softer, meaty kind).The lady at the counter was sweet and helpful. The wait time wasn't terrible and the price was about par for the area. Definitely worth the stop, they have a ton to offer.

Pork and chicken cracklins with a dill pickle ??. The jalapeno cream cheese boudain balls are great. Love coming to Andre's when I visit Louisiana, it's a tradition for me.

A take out window and 2 nice young ladies were very helpful. We got some boudin balls, boiled peanuts, and crackins. Everything was very good Reserva una mesa ahora

Cracklins are great, reg boudin balls are great, pepper jack not my thing and the spicy boudin just didnt hit this time.n

Tried a little bit of everything and it was ALL GOOD!!! Wraps, pies, cheese sticks….hands down best road-side stop!

Showed up at 5:25pm young girl at register had a bad attitude,didn't want to cook anything just serve left overs.
