Angelo's Italian Pizza

I was hoping our 2nd visit would be as good as our first. But unfortunately it was not. The first issue was we arrived and were asked to sit next to the front door. I kindly stated “ is there another table away from the busy door” and the hostess had us sit down and wait for another table. I was fine with that. When our table was ready we took our seats and ordered drinks and appetizers. Things we’re OK it was alittle loud but OK. Our dinners arrived and the portion was large however my vodka pasta was quite bland and the noodles were overcooked. I didn’t want to make a scene so I just ate 1/4 and we paid the bill. My wife and I wanted to try this restaurant again. We can honestly say we'll never be back. The hostess sat us in an area where they were having a large party right next to us, we asked for different place to sit and was told this is all they have. My wife ordered the minestrone soup, it was more like bean stew. No tomatoes, no green beans, no pasta and NO FLAVOR very bland. We had minestrone soup before never like this. When i told the waiter about the issue with the soup he started arguing with me telling me i don't know what im talking about. We also got 2 slices which we're great nice, hot and crispy. But I doubt that my wife and I will be back again.

Angelo's is an Italian restaurant in Midlothian and it's a great place to eat or get take out! The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming! The atmosphere feels like a neighborhood favorite spot. The food is so good, it's no wonder Angelo's is a favorite local spot! Go check them out or get some good to take home!

Pizza was excellent, brought home cannoli's for dessert, everything was great, will come back again!
