Pizza 1970's Style....
Call me nostalgic but I remember when a family size pizza could feed a family, when toppings were copious and without a hint of smokiness from the wood fired oven, and all for under $10. Angelo's produces such pizza albeit the price for the family is now $19.90. Firstly its not a wood fired pizza, and has never claimed that (unlike that tart Crust pizza), its just your bulk standard..feed your face..and I reckon tasty pizza. I ordered the family Mexican ....super hot (33cms in diameter), blew me away.

Tried Angelos for the first time on Sunday night and unfortunately that will be the last time. We made an order online of three dishes, which included a garlic bread side. What we thought was a quite a simple order, took an hour to arrive. This was disappointing seeing as the store was only a 2 minute drive up the road. Once the food arrived, it was very cold. The pizza was definately not made fresh as all the ingredients had hardened and combined into a plastic like excuse for a pizza topping. I used to get pizzas here 40 years ago, but the present owner is going to drive this place into the ground. Garlic bread needs to be baked in the oven and be toasted on the outside, it really is not worth eating. The pizza has the ingredients but alas if you are making without heart and don't love what you do it is not ever going to taste good - no love in anything here. Crust pizzas are like this too, so my feeling is that the staff are there for work but that doesn't cut it anymore so fail this business will. I used to work next door to Angelos Pizza and enjoyed their fare previously, however won't be ordering from them online again. In line with other consumers on here, I have had issues with online ordering. I ordered using EatNow and on the last two occasions had problems. Tonight I'm still waiting 2 hrs after my initial order and no pizza. I called the store and was told basically it was too bad the order didn't come through, but after the EatNow staff called them, my order suddenly appeared and "would be another half hour". No apologies and no discount. Which is a shame because the pizzas are actually good.

Finally tried Angelo's out, after years of passing by, it's also my closest pizza place. Fairly yum pizza, not soggy and enough toppings. I ordered a gluten free base and it was nice and crispy and I did not feel unwell after, always a bonus. Man who served was very polite and helpful. Man in turban rude, he should keep to the back of the shop. Kids and hubby also enjoyed their pizza, not too oily either. Will visit again.
Angelo's pizza looked after our Xmas staff function very, very well. Dennis was a wonderful help and had the pizzas we requested ready on time. To make it better they were all delicious. He catered for all our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. A lot of our staff live in the area and they will be back to Angelo's guaranteed after such a good experience. Picked up some balloons next door and impromptu decision to pop into Angelo's for a quick bite. $9 for a "pizza for one" seemed like a passable deal; unfortunately, pizza experience was also only just passable. There are definitely better choices in South Perth area, i.e. Solo Pizza and Ciao Italia springs to mind
I ordered via the Internet and waited 1,5 hours before phoning them to find out where my order was and was informed they never received the order. The person answering the phone didn't seem interested in my business. This is the second time I have had a bad experience with them. Will not order from them again.

If i could score a zero i would. A few weeks ago i order two pizzas online. I drove down to pickup the order, only to be told the price on the internet was wrong and i had to pay $3 more per pizza ????
They then proceed to argue with me and refused to honour the Internet price.
I will never return.
Best pizza ever!! Thick crust and lots of toppings. We once told the staff how much we love their pizza and they gave us a free garlic bread and 1.25L drink! Wouldn't go anywhere else.
