The pizza arrived and tasted fantastic. I ordered it with extra cheese and a well-done crust, but unfortunately, it wasn't as well-done as I requested. While there was a generous amount of extra cheese, when I opened the box, most of the cheese had slid off the pizza and ended up all over the box. It was quite a mess, but the flavor was excellent. I wish I could say this was the first time I experienced this issue, but it was actually the second. I'll give them one more chance, solely because the food tastes great.
The food is absolutely great (the Grandma disc, the freshly baked Focaccia sandwiches and the French onion soup burgers- yes a big burger in a pizzeria); but the real reason I go is that the owner and his family are top notches. Among other things, Gio is a glowing supporter of Michael's Cause (Fighting against Duchenne's muscle dystrophy) and baseball for the blind. I encourage all my local friends to take a good meal and introduce you. You'll be happy.
The best pizza I’ve ever had! From the crust to the sauce to the incredible cheese, everything is top-notch. That's the standard by which I evaluate pizza. I enjoyed this place as a child, and I love it even more as an adult. Great job, Angelos!
We used to live in Matawan and ordered from Angelo's every week. Now that we're in Jackson, we drive 45 minutes just for their pizza because it's absolutely worth it! The family is wonderful, and the food is fantastic!

Not only the best pizza in town, truely.. the subs that they put out are second to none and can't be touched around here.. John, his family and crew make you feel like family. I cannot write enough about this place...
This was truly the most incredible food I have ever had! It was so fresh that when I closed my eyes, I felt as if I were in a lovely café in Palermo. Thank you, Angelos Pizza; you've gained a lifelong customer!
The food was piping hot and incredibly delicious! This was our first time ordering from Angelos, despite having heard all the wonderful reviews. We will definitely be ordering from here again!
