this place serves up THE best food in konstanz, period. there is only one catch: they have a daily menu, and you eat what's served that day - nothing else.one dish. it comes with soup and desert if you like, and it is unbelievably inexpensive (i avoid saying cheap, because this is by no means cheap food) it is excellent food at a bargain price. plus, they really have a beautiful setting, very stylish but not opulent at all. even with a terrace with great views of the rhine river. a must-try!PS: only open Tue- Fri. for lunch only! check their website, just google anglerstuben

We received a very friendly welcome in the Anglerstuben restaurant. The service staff is very uncomplicated and extremely friendly. The various courses from the Bodensee menu were all perfectly seasoned and of excellent quality. What was particularly worth mentioning for me was the cormorant course something you don't get served every day. The wine list is very well sorted and offers wines at fair prices. All in all a wonderful experience.
