Last year everything was fine, but this year you could literally see how the service got worse and worse. No more Italian flair, just miserable service. A waitress always snaps at you (when she actually comes) and then often doesn't bring what you ordered or forgets it altogether. A waiter is constantly cursing in Italian as he frantically moves between tables, completely ignoring the guests. And the boss, who used to be always friendly, doesn't even greet you anymore. You generally have the feeling that you are annoying the staff and that you are somehow a burden to them. The food has also become worse and the presentation is completely lackluster. After years, my mother and I visited this café again and we were very disappointed. We were neither greeted nor served politely. The employees were all unmotivated and very unfriendly. The tables were dirty and the floor too. The food also left something to be desired. My dessert was from the previous day, dry and tasteless. We are both Italian and yet the staff shouting in Italian throughout the restaurant really annoyed us. The atmosphere was therefore very unpleasant. Will not visit this restaurant again. It's not what it used to be. Very unfortunate.
The table next door got the cafe before us, even though the table arrived 10 minutes after us, I pointed out to the waitress that our cappuccinos were still missing, and she shouted loudly through the whole restaurant, yes, they're coming, everything is made by hand here. hmmmm ok when the cappuccinos came they were cold or is cappuccino made with cold milk?
