Anleger 511 - Reserva de mesa

the location of the "anleger 511" directly on the Rhine is really beautiful, especially in connection with the newly designed beautiful promenade. we have been spending a afternoon and/or listening summer evenings there for years. mostly however on the wine-probier but in the afternoon also like for a coffee in the "anleger 511." earlier there were delicious cakes from the sheet from the caffe blum, hmm, that was really good! this was once! Today comes the cake - tasted - from a big bakery and is ungodly! connected with the price - 3.80 euro (!) per piece is no longer beautiful and almost angry! I like to pay a little more at such a beautiful location but then the performance must be right!...

if the weather is right, it makes a lot of fun there. here is self-service, but that's not what it does. it is a bit complicated with the self-service and the personal reacted already somewhat unequivocally, since the same were always asked. a small change or correction when ordering and payment was made very quickly remedy. they only need to watch the customers and they will quickly notice what is wrong! then you have the food and drink, it is just wonderful.

under all chew. I was there last time with a friend and we ordered a white wine choir at the sb theke. After the service greeted us unfriendly, she gave us the scorle in longdrink glass. when I asked them to give me a weinglas, they twisted the eyes and murmured something in front of them. The evening was spoiled with it for the first time, to the luck we still got a place in another restaurant "burg crass" not far from here and could enjoy the evening.

Today on the day before 12 o'clock we were quite unfriendly to point out that it is self-service here and yes all the places free as you can see.....an inappropriate irony at a friendly greeting on our part.We are then straight on to the burg crass and like to lay a few euro more on the table for nice service, good kitchen and the feeling to be welcome. the various sheet cakes were once a highlight of each visit. annoying that they now only reach maessive kantine level (which can be paid expensively) a pity, especially because of the great location and the historic building.

We stayed near Eltville for a week and went to this cafe on a number of occasions for a coffee and a cake. Always enjoyed it with the location right next to the busy Rhine. Very scenic and a fun place.

Lovely place to sit on a sunny day, have a glass of wine and watch the ships passing by. Outdoo seats are rare, but it's worth to wait.
