The room we had (21 , has the BEST view of two of the three mountains from the room. We were on the end of the 2nd story, and many rooms on the 2nd floor has views, but the rooms on the bottom floor don't, as there are trees in the way. You need to ask for a room with a mountain view and expect to pay a little more. The room itself was large, the twin beds were firm and comfortable (how we like it! . The shower was small by US standards but more normal for Europe maybe 3ft x 3ft the shower curtain clings to your body! Very bad experience with Annex Alpine Inn. Check-in time 3 pm and check-out time 11 am. We came at 12 pm. Then reception said check in possible only at 3 pm. They have allowed to keep our baggage. This was the worst hotel during my 18 day tour of Switzerland, France and Italy. The bathroom is horrible. There were multiple spider webs in the bathroom when I checked in. It is impossible to take a shower in the small shower area with a nylon shower curtain and the hand shower hook only waist high. The shower curtain is only few inches from your body with no way to secure its lower end. The curtain clings to your body when it gets wet. Trying to get the curtain off your body to be able to take a shower spills water on the floor. I was threatened with a CHF200 fine for wetting the bathroom floor(see attached picture). We spend three nights here to explore the region. Wilderswil is a great village, very calm and quiet and perfectly located. The train station is less than 10 min walking from the hotel. The chalets have great size, and awesome views. I liked the self check in computer, it’s easy and fast! Rooms are big, plenty of space and with a large balcony. Bathroom has good size, shower with great pressure but the plastic curtain is terrible. Good breakfast, with a few types of breads, nice good, cheeses, scramble eggs and bacon and yogurt with cereals.

Mediocre motel. Rooms are ok but outdated, walls thin so other guests easily heard and shower head is maybe 4ft high... Breakfast was great and the hostess during breakfast is awesome. Rest of property is over priced for what is offered.
