we went to the restaurant and waited for space. the restaurant, what I could only see was immaculate. the floor had no rubbish on it or spilled any kind. the personal is really nice to talk to them. they order from a menu and the restaurant also has a take-out menu. they can smell the bbq and the apple odor in the air. they have sandwiches and the sides are sold separately for S3.50/page if they do not buy complete meal. people can order food that feed between 6-8 people when they have an event. this restaurant now also has seating in the open. this place is next to hwy 16 and they cannot miss it. they are only open on Thursday, Saturday, 11 o'clock. they also have child dishes. that was my...

After reading about Apple City BBQ in Our State Magazine, we decided to give it a try. While I typically prefer eastern NC style BBQ, I have grown to enjoy western NC as well. Despite its small size, the service was quick and efficient. I ordered the small BBQ plate, which was good but not outstanding enough to warrant a special trip. However, if you happen to be in the area, it is a nice spot to stop for a meal. The self-serve drinks were a convenient touch. Overall, I would rate the food and service a 4 out of 5, with the atmosphere receiving a 3. Recommended dish: BBQ Plate. Meal type: Dinner. Price per person: $10-20.

The food at this restaurant is incredible and the service is very fast. They offer pulled BBQ chicken, which is delicious and not commonly found at other places. The coleslaw was exceptional and the BBQ sauce options were fantastic, including vinegar-based, sweet, and jalapeno varieties. I will definitely return for more. The overall dining experience was excellent, with a 5-star rating for food, service, and atmosphere. Recommended dishes include Loaded BBQ Cheese Fries, Apple City Nachos, Smoked Chicken Breast, BBQ Sandwich, Pork BBQ, Red Slaw, and Street Tacos. This was an amazing find. The staff was so nice and courteous. The BBQ was delicious. You gotta try the fries covered with cheese and BBQ. You will not be disappointed. This place is the middle of nowhere BUT has some of the best food I have had in a while the ribs where tasty fall off the bone the brisket was soft and flavorful the brown Betty was a very nice the hushepuppy were just the way that I liked Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The barbecue sandwich lacked flavor and the french fries were cold and chewy. To be honest, Cookout has a better barbecue sandwich. The service, dining in experience, and atmosphere were all rated a 2 out of 5. The price per person for lunch was between $10-20.
