I booked a party of 18 for a 50th birthday celebration. From the start communication by phone was excellent, we live nr Bath and The Apple Tree is a halfway meeting point as most of the birthday boys family live in Birmingham; I even sent table decorations by post and they were more than happy to make the table look lovely. I sent meal choices 1 week ahead accept for 2 people and that was no problem; on arrival they were polite and friendly. Food came out hot and quite quickly and everyone seemed to enjoy the food , after our meal we sat outside on the patio area for birthday cupcakes and coffee A very nice time had by all and special thanks to Pat and John whom were our waiters .
Easy to book a table online. We were welcomed and had attentive service throughout our meal from Pat and Luke . The menu was great. We would recommend the mint and pea risotto either with baked beetroot and butternut squash or with the sea bass. The blackberry and apple crumble pie was a winner as was the Bakewell tart!
We had lovely lunch today, seated promptly, staff are friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly and was yummy! Was having such a lovely time that we stayed for coffee and pudding. Will be sure to come again soon. Thanks Jo , luke and Pat for looking after us.
Lovely setting and nice ambience for meeting friends, indoor and outdoor seating, perfect place for relaxing after a walk. Zero zero alcohol drinks available. Cannot comment on food... didn't try food.

It's a lovely location and the garden is great. But it is a Green King pub, so a bit generic. Could have done with a couple more staff on, but the staff that were there were lovely and professional.
Nice clean bar and restaurant area. Very Friendly staff. Had a lovely meal, all the food was hot and very tasty. Really enjoyable, will come again.
My local pub. Lovely people, friendly atmosphere, never had a bad meal. A good local pub with hardworking staff. Well worth a visit
