I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. Everything was terrible - the food, service, and drinks. I was visiting from out of town and decided to stop in for a quick bite before heading home, but I was very disappointed. I definitely would not recommend this location. The server at the bar was lucky she received a tip from me, as she was not attentive to guests and seemed more interested in her phone and drinking bottled water. Service these days is not what you pay for. I left feeling very disappointed and disgusted. Neighborhood Applebes I must give up, used to go back a few years ago just recently began to visit for togo orders and recently completed an online order that went completely wrong, order is not what I got online and when I was called I would be refunded. Nothing I waited the next day to give it time? still nothing, after the call after the whole day noticing I had?t received my refund I spoke to another person who said they would let the General Manager know since he?s the only one who can issue the refund and that he would not be able on the following day. So a mistake on her part takes me 2 working days to correct.
Our waitress Michai (not sure how she spells it) was excellent. However, the first water they bought me out the cup was FILTHY, had some type of leaf stuff on it and looking at the cup it just wasn't clean period. Then it seemed to be very little if any social distancing in the bar area, where we really had no choice but to sit. You had people just walking into the bar area greeting folks and staff they knew. It was just all to much. But the food was good, if that's any relief... Ohhhhh.....and then someone had the AUDACITY to put shoes on one of the tables with all the germs out here.
I ordered the grilled chicken with shrimp at this restaurant and the food was terrible. It didn't taste fully cooked. After eating, I went to the bathroom and ended up throwing up everything I had consumed - including the mozzarella sticks, steak, mashed potatoes, shrimp, and chicken. I asked for a discount but was denied, even though I felt I shouldn't have had to pay at all. The service was average (3 out of 5) and it was a dine-in dinner experience. Overall, the food and service were disappointing.

Great service and food here. I came here at 11 for lunch and everything was on point. The place was staffed well and the location was spotless. Ribs, fries, drinks and mozzarella sticks were cooked perfectly. Everyone from the manager to the bartenders came out to greet and service us. Highly recommend this location for small to large parties
I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. As a former restaurant owner myself, I was treated poorly, feeling like a homeless person in Takoma Park. The waitress was rude and gave me unpleasant looks, and some parts of the food were served cold. Overall, it was a negative experience. Improvement is needed.
The food was well-packaged and still warm, not soggy at all. I will definitely order the Sugar Dusted Donut Dippers again. The Bourbon Street Chicken Shrimp was tasty, especially with some hot sauce. The Double-Glazed Baby Back Ribs were hearty and well-portioned, with just the right amount of sauce.
The experience was just ok. I went with friends so it boosted the experience but the food took a while to come out and the drinks were all too sweet. (3 different drinks kinda tasted the same)

The food was good and the server was great. The reason for 4 stars is the stabbing smell of the facility. I didn't smell it until I removed my mask.
Nice around 5:15pm on a Saturday for me my daughter and mother. Chill and laid back.
