Arahova Souvlaki - Reservar una mesa

I have fond memories of the Arahova in Laval so decided to try the one on Marcel Laurin. First clue should have been the fact that that the restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night. Ordered the Lamb Souvlaki. Everything on the plate was a disappointment from the handful of frozen fries, the tasteless tomatoes in the greek salad (no olives, no peppers). This is summer and the tomatoes should have some flavor. The pita itself was loaded with Tzatziki but little else, a few pieces of charred lamb bits. If I have the urge for Greek food will go somewhere else.

I ordered ahead for pick up so it would be faster. One of the delivery guys took my order by accident. Instead of remaking it they had me wait there for him to come back. Of course by the time I got my food it was cold.

Amazingly, we travelled by bus to reach this restaurant for gyros! DH always favored this place for Greek food, so we decided to leave downtown and come here for dinner.

This was the worst döner kebab I have ever had. The meat was very dry and the tzatziki sauce was extremely thick, most likely to make up for the dry meat.

I would give this restaurant more of a 3.5-star rating. The food is simple and reasonably priced. The desserts and cakes are especially impressive.

do not waste your time eating there. The food does not taste anything, service is slow, and ive gotten sick from their souvlaki too many times.
