I visited Ariana's with some friends on October 23rd. Unfortunately I don't have much good to say. When we walked in around 1PM, the restaurant was a ghost town. We were seated quickly, but upon sitting down I started to notice how dated and dirty everything was. Our booth table had a loose cushion. The table leg was propped up by a stack of napkins. The wall next to our booth had splatter on it that clearly hasn't been wiped in ages. I spotted our waiter cleaning another table, with glass cleaning spray. Glass spray on a wood table. Small, out-of-the-way, independently-owned, delightful Greek Restaurant! My husband and I found this gem on our way to NC, and I am thoroughly impressed! We had the Grape Leaves and Greek potatoes for an appetizer, then I ordered the Vegetarian sampler-BURSTING with flavor! My husband ordered the Gyro Platter-the meat was delicious, tender, and juicy. Even the rice was delicious here. The service was fast and friendly, even though we were there at closing time. We left completely satisfied, without feeling stuffed. We’ll definitely be back!
Being Greek, I think I am pretty experienced in Greek food. Although it is not authentic Greek, it is still delicious. I am not sure where the owner is from, but he clearly put his own spin on things. Tzatziki is like nothing I ever had. The Greek potatoes again were different, too. But everything was delicious. Service was great and prices were good.

Interesting take on some traditional Greek dishes! Great flavors, cooked over charcoal so there is great flavor!! This place is totally worth a trip to that side of town!!
