Today was my first visit to the Yonge and Empress branch, and it was a terrible experience. It took me 45 minutes to order just 2 coffees. I felt like my time was wasted at this location as the service was slow and poor. The tables were left dirty and unfinished after customers had left. I don't blame the staff, as it was clear that there was a lack of management in not scheduling enough staff for the shift. The staff themselves were great and were working hard to handle everything. I will never return to this location.
Last time I was here, I saw that the Asian lady made drinks at the front, touched her nose/rubbed, didn't wash her hands or wore gloves after they had made customer orders. I saw her nose scratched and with her fingers she took teessacks and also sniffed with her nose after she had pulled her mask down. I think the type in the kitchen practiced more exact hygiene as he wore new gloves to make my salad after he had taken my order. I never order my drinks here.
I expected better from Aroma. Ordered two power breakfast. The sunny side up eggs were broken. The easyover was cooked through. They weren’t busy but didn’t bother to apologize when I politely asked them for fix. Smiles would do wonders. Will think twice before returning. I’ve had much better CS elsewhere. Thanks
It's a nice coffee shop with a patio. It's a perfect place to meet friends especially that the adjoining area also has chairs and small tables. The only thing I did not like, in order to use their wifi, you need to log in to your FB. Coffee is good and some of their pastries make a good pairing with their drinks.

Such a cosy cafe with a convenient location. Just steps from North York Centre station. Baristas are friendly and staff are constantly wiping down tables. It was a bit hard snagging an indoor seat during COVID but ample patio seating available if you can stand a little bit of chilly weather.
real mangoooss. I love the ambiente, eat, coffee and drink here. the place is perfect when they have someone with them. it is next to the park where they go outside to drink or just stay for a warmer try inside.
beautiful and friendly people. beautiful place also for cold winter days with high windows. they still feel at the road. indoors are not so large, but with new restriction release you will probably find space!
it was nice to have served dine-in and coffee in tassen after what it felt like old. the cappuccino and the aroma coffee with ice and cheese crucifixion were the perfect snack on a rainy Saturday night.

The service was excellent, the drinks were well prepared, and the outdoor seating was comfortable and well-spaced.
This is a great spot for a quick brunch or a drink. The patio seating is a nice touch, especially on sunny days.
