For an anniversary dinner with my husband, had never tried, but the early bird specialities were very good for the starter, Entree and Dessert. This chocolate mousse was fantastic! We sat early, so it wasn't halfway through our meal that we had a problem. A table sat beside us that all the heavy fragrances wore and unfortunately I am sensitive to it and will get migraines. After changing seats with man, I was fine. Until the A.c. came up and the fragrance was right in my face. My friend and I visit Artisan at least once a week, especially enjoy the early dinner menu, but also have many tasteful favorites on the full dinner menu. From welcoming at the host station to the last swallow of the best cup of coffee in Ocean County, the service, ambience and quality of the ingredients rate second to none. Also, as a member of the Artisan's Wine Club, I highly recommend asking if you enjoy a good wine at a reasonable price with your meal. I'm planning my 70. Birthday celebration for January, completely confident to have another good culinary experience for my family and friends.

We had a large party of 8 this past Mother's Day for brunch. Our server, (male, but name escapes me), was incredibly attentive and kind. The stations were delicious and we had a wonderful morning! I need to remember to come here for dinner more because other than brunch, and hosting my sister's bridal shower in the back room, I never seem to get here as much as I would like.

The seasonal salad was quite disappointing. It was overpriced at $30, considering it included only a salad, chicken, and bread. I was under the impression that I was ordering the Seasonal Warm Farro Salad, but I ended up with just the Seasonal Salad instead. The similar descriptions for both salads caused confusion. Please keep this dish on the menu and don't change anything! The Crispy Chicken Cordon Bleu is incredible. The chicken is tender, and the sauce is fantastic. The vegetables have just a bit too much garlic for my taste, but overall, it's an amazing plate.

I had the Greek salad and an order of buffalo chips. The salad was very fresh, which seems to be a rarity these days for some reason, but it was fantastic—the feta cheese was among the best I've ever had, and the dressing was simple yet delicious.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and the rooms are beautifully furnished and spacious. While the menu could use a bit more variety, it was certainly sufficient for a satisfying experience.
