Asada Cantina Kitchen

I used to love this place. Wife, kids, and myself used to come here all the time, probably about 40 times. My issue with this place is now the pricing. The food is good, service is good, atmosphere isn’t bad. But they are charging close to Javier’s prices now, and let’s be real: this is not Javier’s caliber food, service, or ambiance. They now charge $18 for a Cadillac margarita. $17 for a kids burger with fries. $33 for carnitas plate (Javier’s is $36). Javier’s actually charges $32 for Enchilada+Chile relleno+taco with rice and beans combo.Long story short, I like this place, but not enough to continue coming back with the current prices ?

I deducted a star because I ordered the chilaquiles and it turned out to be essentially nachos with eggs on top. Despite that, the food was still delicious and everything was cooked well, and the servers were very friendly, providing an average level of service. The salsa served with the chips was actually quite unique, making me wonder why they went with such an unusual combination for the main dish. Overall, the drinks were average for the price, the service was average, and the food was well-prepared but oddly conceived (at least in the case of my entree).

Took someone here for a special date night since someone recommended it to us and it was the most BLAND Mexican food I’ve ever had. Both of our dishes lacked any spice and flavor. I’m not a picky eater too but it was pretty sub par…The only good thing was the chips and salsa. It sucks because the decor and ambiance was amazing, servers and staff were extremely good too. So much potential but missed the mark, we were so disappointed. Why can’t places like this have the quality and flavor of basic street tacos for example? It’s not that complicated.

Our experience here was exceptional thanks to our waiter, Connor. He was so friendly and made the best food recommendations. I always believe that customer service can make or break any business, and restaurants need more Connors. The food at this restaurant is DELICIOUS! The street tacos taste very authentic. And my husband loved the birria tacos. The chips and salsa are soo soo good. You can’t stop eating once you start. We will be back! Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant is perfect for families. We requested a booth and they immediately tried their best to accommodate us. The kids' menu prices are around $11 for items like tacos, while the Asada dish costs $22 and is definitely worth it. We ordered the Asada special and it was delicious. Our server, Emilio, was fantastic - he patiently and graciously handled all of our special requests. I highly recommend this place.

This is a big restaurant and great for groups and has a nice size bar. We dined with the three of us and the food is very good. It is pricey as the entrées are $20-$30. Service was excellent.

Connor was one of the best servers I’ve had in years. Wonderful service. The tacos were hot, crispy and spicy with perfect flavor. Great Mexican restaurant.
