Has several takeaways from here recently after being advised by a neighbour that it had changed hands and was much improved since my last review. Tonight however it returned to its original terribleness. 2 hours and 15 minutes for an online takeaway ordered on their...own website to arrive after 2 phone. 1st call we were told it had left, 2nd phone call 20 minutes later and he went off to find out where it was and then put the phone down. When it arrived the pot of lime pickle contained about a dessert spoon full. I ordered a mixed biriani, no prawns to be found and the lamb was like shoe leather. It was full of peppercorns and cloves which I nearly broke my teeth on. No salad with it unless...
use this place a lot and usually quite good, but not tonight. getting the order wrong by missing an article and getting the price wrong about the phone, which was accused of the door, was nothing compared to the abyss quality. the starter. the garnels in the prawn puri were chewing and dry, not edible and so ended in the dog bowl. almost 4 pounds and they were absolutely terrible. had a quality problem in the past and arranged it over it and simply got a "oh sorry" no effort to put it right, so time to find a new takeaway. disappointed.
At 9:30, the food still hadn't arrived, and after another call to the restaurant, they promised it would be with us soon. However, at 10:10, the delivery finally arrived, but we had already decided it was too late to eat and chose to cancel the order. The delivery driver was confused as he had just left the restaurant and hadn't been to our location yet. While the food at Asha is good, this experience was disappointing and we will be looking elsewhere for our future dining needs.
Ordered on a recommendation from our neighbour and was certainly not disappointed. Three of us tried different starters and main meals from the large, varied menu and found everything to be really fresh and very tasty and one of the best takeaway meals we have...had in a long time. Portions very generous. When visiting friends in the area my must go to is The Asha. Every dish I have tried is prepared superbly consists of excellent ingredients. The welcome from Abdul Mr Khan is always warm they will advise on dishes being considered. Also...for value for money this restaurant is hard to beat Well done to all at The Asha I look forward to my next visit.
SUPERB!! If you want a fantastic proper curry with great staff then look no further. We usually get a takeaway but I’ve been tonight with my dad and it was brilliant. They’ll do anything for you, nothing is too much to ask and the food...quality is second to none. We are from Bradford so we know a good curry and this is the place to go.
Ash is the top Indian restaurant with delicious food, friendly staff, and a beautiful dining atmosphere.
