My husband and I recently had an overnight stay here. Our evening meal was very good and well presented and the staff who looked after us were friendly and attentive. Our room was on first floor at the front of the building. First impressions, it was clean and more than adequate for a one night stay. The chocolate brownies were a nice touch (if you like them and they was a nice selection of tea and coffee available. They was a good breakfast menu to chose from. It was a bit tricky to locate the restaurant, even though we drove from Washington, South Tyneside, but it was definitely worth it for the wonderful meal we had to celebrate a friend's birthday. The fact that he treated us to lunch made the experience even more enjoyable! Since we're from Washington and they’re from Morpeth, this place will likely become a regular spot for us. Service: 5/5. I visited this restaurant on Saturday for a murder mystery party, and it was a fantastic evening!
