We so much enjoyed our seafood 3 course lunch on Christmas Day 2014 that we looked forward to today's lunch (Christmas Day 2016). At $99 per head, excluding drinks, the 3 course lunch menu offered excellent value. On a hot day, parking in the underground car park ensures the car is secure and cool, and the restaurant is usually comfortably furnished with good sized tables and chairs.We checked the online menu in the week prior to our booking and noticed immediately that the new owners/managers had increased the lobster main course choice by $50 - all of the other main choices remained within the $99 menu.Today's lunch had excellent food, well cooked and presented, from the bread roll and but...
Held Mum's 100th Birthday there today for lunch. From initial engagement, through menu and room planning, to decorations and quality of the food, everything was amazing. Only issue was somewhat slow food service - but this was partly our fault as we wanted an edited a la carte menu rather than the dreaded alternate serve that makes it so easy for the venue but usually delivers lukewarm pre-prepared dishes. Everyone, from 6 years old to 100 years old commented on the quality of the food and the lovely room. Well done to Peter and the crew.
Used to dine here quite a bit. The seafood platter (for 2/3) and their wine list was a definite favorite. Unfortunately over the years the seafood seems to have become 'less fresh' - prawns and crab tasteless. Oysters much the same. I'm not sure if it's a matter of them storing the seafood for longer periods of time than they used to, but after a relatively disappointing weekend dining experience recently, we won't be back any time soon.
It took 1 h to get a waiter to ask what we want to drink - and I had to go and get him to our table (in an empty restaurant!). Food was "hotel food", no too well done. The waiters were really lazy, for the second class of water I had to go again and ask them to come to our table. I do not know if they all were there for the first day but I hope we do not need to eat there another time!

I've heard they do a terrific seafood buffet, and as they are attached to a big Quest Hotel breakfast is probably good and busy; but on an ordinary night it's different; huge, empty and soulless. The food is OK if a bit pricey for what is on offer, but it's something of a downer if you're eating alone in a vast space. Maybe check how busy it will be when booking.
I've dined at Atlantis over 30 times now, I know the staff well. Peter is a top bloke and always happy to help out with an amazingly friendly "can do" attitude.Would live to see some Indian on the menu now, new Indian owners could make that a star menu option.Thanks for the good times guys.
We had the slow cooked lamb chops, they were absolutely full of flavour and the meat just fell of the bone. The sauce was very tasty. The 2nd night I had the burger while my husband had the whiting, nice meals We had buffet meals twice as well. OK for a buffet, nothing special.
After a long day of travel and finally arriving at Quest North Ryde hunger needed to be sated. Atlantis restaurant had the food options I wanted at very reasonable prices. Generous servings topped off the pleasurable dining experience. I'll be back.

Staff is good and the food tastes well too. The happy hours are something to look for. the restaurant outdoor was however not maintained as repair work was on. Managed well.
A very nice restaurant with very good service. The service was a memorable part of our stay. Recommended.
