This is really just a typical takeaway bain marie style place, NOT a restaurant, despite the impression you get when booking. You also can only order the pre prepared food that is available we asked if we can order anything on their displayed menu, and we were told that we can’t. Additionally there are only a couple of basic tables to eat in, and despite it being mid winter, the door is permanently open to attract foot traffic. The food available was tasty enough, can’t fault it for this style of takeaway food venue, although if eating in, it just served on plastic picnic ware, and same if you want a drink. Sadly they were empty on more than half of the bain marie dishes, at 7pm on a Tuesday. That was a bit disappointing. Edit this review was for a week ago April 2nd. Fine weather. Parking: Gordon train station commuter parking is just at the bottom of the hill. There is ample parking there at 7pm on Tuesdays. I can't comment on other times. A casual place for eat in and takeaway indian food, made with love and a family owned restaurant it seems like! Bob I think was the owner and had many regulars buying throughout the night, which made sense as he was such a genuinely lovely and nice person, greeting everyone with smiles and dishing up delicious curries and naan! Would definitely go back for the great attitude and hearty food
We had lunch at this restaurant and it was fantastic! The prices were very reasonable, ranging from A$1 to A$20 per person. The food was delicious, with a rating of 5 for both food and service. The atmosphere was also great, with a rating of 5. We highly recommend the curries with rice and naan, 2 curries with rice, chicken tikka, butter chicken, and mild butter chicken.

Been going this gem for at least the past 10 years and been served by the same family ever since. The food, service and the exotic taste remained the bedrock of this place. Keep it up Kumar!
