I had planned all week to go to this restaurant close to my daughters dance studio. When entering we noticed trivia was going on and we usually would join in but with only two groups in house, the insanely loud speaker and piercing voice of the triviaattendant, it was disturbing to say the least. We tried to move to the opposite side of the place but she was still screechingloud. I asked the bartender if he was going to let her know her volume was out of whack for the size of the place and quantityof guests but he refused stating he was just the bartender. Honestly, I think the quality of the pizza and wings here can vary depending on the day you visit. The last couple of times I tried it, it didn't seem gourmet at all. The pizza was greasy, and the cheese was a bit chewy. The baked wings were mostly just fat, leading to a significant amount being wasted. The brownies appeared hard at first, but they were actually not too bad—I think they contain more dark chocolate, which I personally liked. It's a convenient spot to grab a quick bite if you're spending time at the pool or clubhouse as a resident or guest of a resident. That said, it's also open to the public. The pizza at this place is fantastic, with generous portions and excellent flavor. However, there is room for improvement in the service at the cash register. I ordered online, but my order wasn't ready when I arrived at the pick-up time. Instead of notifying me, my order was set aside after it was completed, even though I was waiting in the store. I noticed my order number on the boxes just sitting there. To make matters worse, the cashier almost handed my order to another customer because there had been a mix-up. I had to step in and inform her that my order was waiting there. While the pizza is really good, they definitely need to improve their process, especially during busy times.
The food at this restaurant is quite tasty, and they arguably have the best selection of pizzas in Westchase. However, we've encountered issues with our pizza deliveries every single time we've ordered. I appreciate their willingness to send missing items when we call to let them know, but when this happened a second time, the re-delivery was still incorrect. The restaurant primarily provides a pickup service. I had to wait a little after arriving on time to pick up my pizzas, but all three were quite delicious. Regarding parking, there's usually ample space available either on the street or behind the restaurant. I chose takeout for dinner, and the cost per person was very affordable, ranging from $1 to $10.
Ultimately, we decided to leave because no one wants to eat while being blasted by a microphone in an almost empty establishment. It's disappointing, as we were ready to spend $100 on our meal for two. Sadly, due to the poor service we encountered, we won’t be coming back. This level of service seems to be increasingly common in the industry these days.
