Today, it remains a simple, no-frills establishment with dedicated staff members who have been there for many years. The menu is extensive, offering everything from sandwiches to desserts to chips. During my visit with a group of seven, we tried the chicken salad sandwiches, pastrami on rye, kishka, pickles, Caesar salad, and chicken tenders for the children. Let me start by saying that this was the best pastrami I have ever had in my life. Tender, juicy, fatty, smokey.......aside from that, it is STUPID EXPENSIVE. The sandwiches are small for the price. Over $15 for a sandwich with no sides. Cole slaw is deli slaw, just as expected. Nothing out of the ordinary. Potato salad was blah. Just potatoes, mayo, and sugar. No carrots, celery, or onion for color, flavor, and crunch. The pickles had a very thick, tough skin. The dining area is dirty and needs a good cleaning. The napkin holders, salt shakers, etc. were all tacky with layers of grime. There are no prices listed on the menu board. $58 for 2 sandwiches, 2 small cole slaw, 2 drinks, 2 pickles...
Just had the most amazing time at Attman’s devouring a Reuben and Cloak Dagger with the wife. Told Steve (the guy running the place) it was the best corned beef I’ve ever tasted. Thin sliced, packed with flavor and so juicy and tender. Chatted with him for quite awhile about everything under the sun. Nicest guy you could ever meet. He is all about quality and it shows in the operation. Kudos to everyone at Attman’s deli top to bottom. Even brought a tear to the little lady’s eye!
The sandwiches really are wonderful, the Reuben is worth the hype, but for the prices I wish the portions were a bit more generous. Everyone in my household was happy with the food they ordered, and while it is certainly worth stopping by whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I don't think it will usurp other options I have within walking distance when I'm hungry. We ordered delivery so I can't presently speak to the service or atmosphere inside.

The extra lean corned beef sandwiches are incredible from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is friendly, and the customer service is excellent. Overall, this place is top-notch and definitely worth the drive!
I would have given it a 5-star rating, but the sandwiches have gotten smaller while the prices have increased. Still, they are super tasty! Lol
I always make an effort to eat here when in town. I’ve been coming here for over 40 years.
A must have if you’re in the area. Incredible food. Great corned beef and pastrami.
