Where to begin! As the ceramic shops of Soufflenheim began closing on a drizzly day, we noticed locals from seemingly everywhere begin arriving at a restaurant on the corner. Hoping for a light lunch, we entered into a wonderland of Alsace, greeted by magnificent aromas...of sauerkraut and choucroute served in the large ceramic dishes. The surroundings and decor reminded us of our Pennsylvania German roots. Joy everywhere! The onion soup and quiche Lorraine were divine. What more can be said.

If you look for good regional food this is the place to go! The interior is cozy, the staff welcomed us warmly even on a very busy Saturday evening (we had no reservation). The service was fast and very friendly. We will be back!

We stopped for dinner hour and not too busy yet. The previous posts are accurate so only wanted to add that they do have a smaller menu in English. The many pictures posted here are worthy. We enjoyed the new wine also.

I live in Stuttgart, Germany and I love bringing my friends and family that come to visit to this sweet little town and this amazing restaurant! I have never had a bad meal from Au boeuf! Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the Alsatian meal made of sauerkraut and smoked pork and we had a delicious Riesling from the are. We highly recommend this place,
