Au Château - Reservar una mesa

After waiting minutes and having to reorder we finally were served some drinks and then minutes later some food. The fish was poor quality, expensive. The poor young waitress trying to serve too many tables was maladroit and the lady Manager seemed to...be hiding in the kitchen instead of trying to manage or help the service. One does not expect to find reminisces of faulty towers (John Cleese) in the st Century, but this was really it. Maybe they just had an off day or personnel problems but I doubt it.

We stopped by for lunch not being really hungry. if I knew in advance I would've not had breakfast. Lunch menu looked so good and we decided to return for dinner. Salads and foie gras were very good. Local fish we ordered was exceptional. My...kenguru steak was very tasty and I enjoyed grilling it on the stone too. Wine was good and service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We came to eat for the first time in this restaurant this afternoon with the gourmet passport. Excellent welcome, competent and very friendly staff. We ate a horse steak and a beautifully presented crocodile skewer. Everything was really excellent, I can only recommend this restaurant.

At with very few patrons, they refused to let us sit and have a bier insisting they were fully booked. We didn't speak French very well and they clearly didn't want us there. Unacceptable. We had a great meal at the Frog and Rose...which was less touristy and spectacular food.

Nice place, nice terrace, good food, good welcome, good service, good value for money
