This was recommended by owners of accommodation, where we regularly stay. It is located a few miles away, in a village up in the hills of Hautes Cotes de Nuits. Due to the weather unable to sit outside in the attractive courtyard.We had a thoroughly decent Sunday lunch. The restaurant was full, we had booked a table by phone - the owner speaks fair English, certainly better than my limited French.Short but interesting menu. Food is simply cooked, with good quality ingredients, to an above French bistro standard. Good cheese & above average coffee. Wine list has a small selection, but of real interest & value. The food is magic and organic, especially the Oeufs pochés à l'époisse which cannot be found elsewhere! The ambiance is great and On top the owner is very welcoming. This is just the perfect place!
