the restaurant is rated by the Logis chain as “table distingée” so that they can expect something special. that was true. there is no menu, but an ipad that we both had to look at, which is neither beautiful nor high-stardard. the hostess said. it was the becauce of covid, which is totally nonsense, like all other restaurants working with menu cards again. while still the young and arrogant waiter tried to sell champagne than aperetif, no other recommendations. after that the hors d’heuvres came before the drinks. immediately after that the Amuse-Bouche had but we had not ordered yet. We visited this restaurant earlier this month after a stop over in Clerey. Looked lovely, beautiful setting, however the service was shocking. 3 chefs in the kitchen, 1 waitress in the restaurant ... serving tables, drinks and clearing tables! Took 10 minutes to get seated...(although there were only 14 diners), 35 minutes to get the bottle of wine and a further 2 hours to get served 2 courses of a 3 course menu! As we were tired after driving all day, we decided to leave. The waitress' attitude was disgraceful. We asked for the bill, waited another 15 minutes to no avail so stood up and left the table in order to get her attention to let us have the bill. She refused to make any adjustment...
Our regular Hotel and Restaurant in Troyes was booked so was made a slight detour and aren’t we glad we did. Small Village and very quiete at this time of the year as was the big lake nearby. The Hotel was a typical Logis, very...comfortable and very clean and good size room and bathroom. My Husband used the the Spa which again was a surprise to find this in this small place. The Restaurant pleasant and nicely set out. The food was amazing from start to finish and would highly recommend the Lamb, best ever. we were looking for a restaurant near troyes on michelin guide. this came as highly recommended. good reception when we arrived, then downhill. plates were prepared in advance (we were in the gastronomy side, not the brasserie.) we went without having our complete menu. a true catastrophe, especially at the price, they did not even offer a discount when we left early and explained why.

We stayed overnight en route to Italy and so did not have time to use the spa etc. While the hotel was nice and in a good location it was not special for the price we paid. The restaurant also seemed a bit pricey so...we ate at a local restaurant and had an excellent meal for about 2/3 what the hotel were charging.
special arrangement 31.12.2019./1.1.2020 was excellent, 6 courses especially with champagne acmompagned and superb lunch on 1.1 again incl. drinks. superior room very comfortable. spa included. dogs are allowed. beautiful quiet village, no artificial fyers.
a good stop option on the running gear. the hotel is located in the center of a charming village at the rande of a large lake with water sports/sailing. comes from a series recommended by locals, good eating.
We were served very nice mise en bouche while having our champagne. The owner is the chef who cooks delicious meals. Nice young and friendly service. We enjoyed our meal.

Faboulous little hotel in a very cute village by a big lake. Amazing food and extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff that really goes the extra mile!! Very unique!!
The quality of the food and wine is excellent, also original in its combinations of flavours. The service coups be friendlier.
