We were staying at the cottages linked to this restaurant and decided to give it a go on our last night. The food was fabulous and the service was very good with our waiter being very kind and attentive. Service was quick despite it being a busy Friday night. A meal for 4 adults with drinks and dessert cost 120e (coincidentally a similar price to a meal in their other restaurant, le Belvedere) so as other reviews have said this is not a cheap eatery but the quality of the food and the service was worth it as we as the location. We were back here on our way home after three weeks touring Italy and looking forward to a lovely meal over looking the lake to celebrate our last holiday evening. We could not fault the waiters/waitresses who were very friendly and attentive although the food was awful. The steak was tough/grissly with half cooked frozen fries and a poor excuse for a pepper sauce, especially in France. The pizza was basically uncooked.
Did us a good turn for a late lunch after a long drive from the Channel crossing. The portion sizes were good and we sat on the terrace and had a great view of the lake and aqua inflatables. It was a tad on the expensive side however we did have an afternoon cocktail and glass of wine, had we reframed it would have been what we would expect considering the beautiful location
Friendly but inefficient staff who forgot water etc. Food was basic and heavy-typical for passing trade. Overall pretty disappointing and whole family agreed we would not return. However there appears to be limited offering regarding restaurants in the area. Toilets weren’t great either.

really aesthetically pleasing on the inside, beautiful food presentation and banging cocktails. all along with friendly, smiling staff that will help with anything, even letting us charge our electronics : especially Laurie ! she's so lovely and really helpful <3
Bit pricy, but you are paying for location! Amazing sunsets across the lake! Good service, staff speak excellent English, we had 2 meals here, pizzas are excellent, had steak on the second visit, which was average, not bad, but not amazing.
After 15 kms hike around the lake d’orient and in the reserved forest. It was with great pleasure to enjoy a nice lunch still open when we arrived at 2 pm). The location is perfect, especially for family with kids.
The waitress FORGOT to send our order to the kitchen so she came back adter 20 minutes and asked again… The burger’s meat was too dry, otherwise it is a nice place

Unfortunately the restaurant was not open all nights, but the 2 nights we could we dined on the terrace and had a great meal with view on the lake.
Nice place. Decent pizzas. Outstanding staff. Smooth service, not always evident in France. View on the lake. Better take a reservation.
