We visited the Auberge with French friends who make an annual pilgrimage at this time of the year for the autumnal colorings and nearby canyon. Eat your heart out, fall addicts! Six of us enjoyed the hearty set lunch with wine and coffee for only €30 a head: plate of charcuterie (in many respects the high spot given the unusual quality of each ingredient), stew (daube) with ravioli, a generous cheese plate with a gorgonzola worth mentioning and a choice of deserts. Nous avons l’habitude de nous rendre dans cette auberge avec toujours le même plaisir , l’accueil est chaleureux la cuisine généreuse et excellente , le vendredi soir nous pouvons au delà de la carte déguster a l'apéro de la socca ( spécialité niçoise a base de farine de pois chiche ) et des pizzas copieusement garnies , le service et irréprochable et les prix très raisonnables , si vous passez dans le village D'AIGLUN a l'heure du déjeuner ou du diner n’hésitez pas a faire une halte dans cette auberge
Overnight in a dormitory during the Traversée des Alpes on a motorcycle with dinner at the restaurant with a splendid view. Very good surprise, few dishes but everything is homemade and prepared live, very tasteful and beautiful presentation. Very good reception also, small picturesque village, small but charming. We have or we Parker nearby.
Nous avons pour habitude d'y aller quand nous venons à notre résidence secondaire et nous sommes toujours autant satisfaits de cet endroit et cette cuisine qui a put mérite d'être authentique, familiale et typique de la région. De plus, Aiglun est un merveilleux village perché à visiter.

We made 1h30 on the road and were very positively surprised at the high range and high quality of Michel’s dishes that were found in the back country of Nice. But with the warm welcome and service of Gwendoline our release has become unforgettable and makes you want to return very soon.
Excellent moment de détente après une super randonnée. Une cuisine simple mais très bonne et des desserts succulents. Nous avons pu déjeuner sur la terrasse ce qui est très agréable. A retenir pour passer un bon moment. Les patrons sont adorables.
Mountain Hostel with spartate comfort, in a splendid environment, ideal for canyoning (the terrible course of the Eagle is just a step away). Friendly welcome, correct food.
