We were staying at the Dominique Colonna hotel next door to this restaurant and decided it would be an easy place to have dinner on our first evening. The first course of aubergine with a mousse of the local Corsican cheese was excellent. However, my second course of dorado accompanied by vegetables and rice was not. Some of the rice was so hard I feared I could break a tooth if I bit too hard on it. The vegetables were over-cooked and very sorry looking. Superb restaurant. We were staying at the nearby Dominique Colonna hotel and they don’t have a restaurant so they sent us next door to what in comparison looked like a run down hotel so our expectations were low but we were blown away. The food was superb. The staff were very efficient and friendly. They were appreciative of us trying to speak French and whenever we struggled they were happy to switch to English (you have to at least try). The portions were abundant and very good value for money. The view and setting are simply amazing. Wish I had more time to try all the dishes.
Great reception with very helpful and listening staff. I put 1 star on the atmosphere because a 16-American tables have spoiled the atmosphere of the restaurant, I asked a server to move us further because it is impossible to get along. We just visited the Restonica and although we didn’t stay at the hotel, we decided to try their restaurant. We enjoyed our meals so much and felt well looked after by the friendly staff that we decided to come back the following night. The ‘fillet de cabillaud sur lit de risotto aux cèpes’ was delicious! Definitely can recommend this place.
A charming place in immersion in the beautiful Corsican nature, the staff is welcoming, smiling and particularly helpful. The kitchen is simply excellent, a non-exhaustive menu focused on fresh and quality products, a real delight! I strongly recommend this address at any point!
Still a pure treat today at the inn of the restonica. The welcome, the dishes, the kindness of the waiter (a love... and a frame has fallen stiff! Bravo enjoy a well-deserved rest this winter and look forward to finding you next season.
