We are local and know this restaurant well. Only open during the tourist season. An early indicator? The waitress was surly and could hardly crack a smile. No terrine de campagne or jambon cru for the Assiette Campagnarde and no alternative available. How do you run out of terrine or ham neither of which is fresh produce? One of our party ordered the vacherin for dessert, but didn 't want the crème Chantilly. Not possible; it comes with cream. When it arrived the cream was a squirt of synthetic on the side of the plate. The chef obviously seeks the simplest life imaginable and has given orders that NO variation is possible.
