New owners and new direction have taken their toll on what was a lovely dining experience. New owners so hope they learn but off to a poor start. Everything - food, service and atmosphere were off. Young inexperienced staff was keen but trained in a pizza bar. Chef didn't care - food selection was a fixed menu with no choices. Cheese was one course so chef knew we would be having cheese but served it straight from the fridge -cold! The table setting included cheap thin paper napkins! All this and they expected €55. We refused to pay that and we negotiated a mid way point. However that was not the point. The point was they ruined an expected lovely family diner on our vacation as we had done...
Having booked a table for nine at 7 30, we were looking forward to a lovely supper. But, as we turned up we realised that this was unlikely. The staff ignored us and we're entirely uninterested in offering us a table or a drink. When we finally got their attention they suggested that we were early for our table and were made to feel thoroughly unwelcome. The bar staff were also completely oblivious and appeared to be more interested in themselves. I am extremely disappointed and we ended up leaving and going to a much more friendly and welcoming restaurant. I would throughly discourage anyone from going here in the future.
We had booked a table for a family dinner and arrived at the pre-arranged time. It was disconcerting to find no tables laid and a large number of black clad staff talking to each other, who could not have cared less about our arrival. We were not offered a drink or anywhere to sit while a table was prepared. After waiting five minutes we asked to be directed to a bar, but the staff were totally uninterested. When we got their attention we were told that there was a set menu and a limited drinks list. After such a miserable experience our party of nine decided to take our custom elsewhere.
our passage date but I want to move because we still haven't recovered from this misadventure! at the time the establishment was in the red guide (this is no longer the case). we booked a room at a very high rate and we found ourselves in a room less than 6 m2 !!!! There was only one single bed and one extra bed that had to be unfolded!!!! and to open the extra bed, you had to close the door otherwise there was no room for it! the room was called "fried marrow" .... we had not enjoyed the eye clind and had not been able to leave (I was in convalescence. ... ) shameful !!!!

a big positive point to start: the absolutely beautiful site, in the comb of lourmarin. For the rest it is full-mouth whipping: incompetent servers (on another planet visibly)., menu at 45 euros for a cucumber salad and 3 frozen gambas on but in box. We went there first to drink a drink (the least cocktail is at 15 euros) and since there was almost no one we stayed alas to dinner. Many servers, yet not overflowed, refused the world while all tables were empty! short a place that wants to be connected but that is completely next to the plate.
If paradise exists, it's good here! well being, tranquility and pleasure: everything is there, as described on their brochure. We were warmly greeted there, and lunch on the shaded terrace, on the edge of the small waterfall with a slight water noise was a real enchantment. this soothing atmosphere is a true haven of peace. I celebrated my birthday and I was entitled to a candle fireworks on my dessert! next year, we'll go back, but we'll have a room.
I don't recommend the restaurant. We are regular customers but every time we come we are increasingly decused. While the setting is beautiful, the restaurant is just not at the height. lack of professionalism, there was a shortage of dishes in the middle of the season, we had no choice on the map. The service is very average, the plates were dirty. We won't be back.
We stayed here, with two dinners arranged as part of a walking tour and found the setting to be beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The outdoor areas are lovely, the staff was very nice and the meals in the dining room at night were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the salmon rillette and the langostine risotto. Breakfast was very nice as well.

nothing to see with a restaurant, on Saturday night it looks like a pic nique in a bobo atmosphere, we use in buffet mode, we eat where you can, in short we can create the atmosphere at home without taking the car.Habitué de ce restaurant depuis des années, j'ai perdu le fil..........more no interest in this place
