Marcel Lapierre, the Pope of Beaujolais (who very, very sadly died several years ago), suggested we eat at this restaurant about fifteen years ago. We have been in the area several times since, and every time we have gone to the Auberge, each visit has been an absolute delight. The husband and wife who run the restaurant are very kind, and the food wonderful. My wife and I regularly reflect on what a special place this is, reflecting the best of the beauty and wonder of France.

This is the second time we come back to the Beaujolais party, a unique menu of entries with white beans , hints , museaux salads , veal feet salads , all served in four hearty salad bowls then sausage cooked in a beautiful way and dry cheese and dessert and wine all at 27€ . the bosses are super, impeccable service tasting of the vintages in a magical place in the middle of the Morgon vineyards, a place where there are only locals, so good, to discover and to come back !!!! the place is very nice, beautiful view of the valley and an old but nice interior. wines of good quality and at very correct prices. We took the menu with rooster to the wines, the speciality of the chef. rooster in a very concentrated sauce but unfortunately with a misty taste. I read after other reviews on this site with the same remark. Too bad!

home cooking with traditional dishes and wines of the wines of the local winemakers' beaujolais. A good address. two room one with the view but a little impersonal, the other traditional and full of charm. This isn't a chichi, it's a good point. Book at the end of the week, the address is known!

A simple inn, clean parking. The day menu provides three courses with three choices every day for $16. Nicely composed wine card. Nice and smooth service. We'd like to give this address a price, too. Why in one rush to the South if you can enjoy the beaujolais wine route with salty addresses?
