not afraid to take a small mountain road, macadamized in part, but dirt road near the finish. out of the forest you arrive on a small plateau, a clearer, where you have to share space with goats and geese. We even saw goats drinking wine in the glasses left unwittingly alone on the table! at the end of the meal the geese arrive at the window to claim some remains...Excellent meal, cooked by the boss and served with the smile by the lady's idea of her daughter. we took the hot goat on toast: a feast. then each one according to his tastes took a bite to the queen, divine fleischnaka (?) or Burgundian beef with spaetzles, all sprinkled with hunawihr riesling! true atmosphere, without any snobis...

wonderful farmhouse, perched all up there, in the tanet, between heaven and earth, where you reach the end of a road and a winding path from the bottom of the Munster valley. It was cold that night on the heights, and when we opened the door, we took a beautiful breath of warmth, human warmth too, in the face. very nice reception, rustic decoration, beautiful view of the valley. On the plates, it's simple, good, rustic, tasteful... enjoy the hot goat cheese, the generous fleischschnake...It's a real happiness to eat up there, it's so original. a recommend and start again. this schupferen hostel is located about 1.150m above sea level and offers a splendid view of the Munster valley. The team is very welcoming with a family atmosphere where we feel welcome. The products are worked with love and the dishes offered are simply delicious and hearty. the service is friendly and smiling. a big thank you to the whole team for this very nice moment.
