we are a group of 12 walkers making a hike around Saint Pey de Castets. we booked this Sunday, December 11th at the Gasconne Hostel for 1 p.m. lately, we are at 1:45 p.m. waiting for some mues of disapproval. It's the big smile of marina that welcomes us and we're at ease. A delicious meal: a real potage of real vegetables, a carpaccio of saint-jacques, a tin on the vine vine in the chimney (absolutely remarkable, tender and tasteful), cheeses, dessert of pastries mignardises house, coffee.It's perfect (although the accompanying vegetables for meat was a little cold). There are very few, restaurants like this one in our region... Warm, incomparable menu, with local and fresh products, prepared by the chef with care. Delicious dishes... and copious, from the entrance to the dessert, and this for a more than reasonable price... in a traditional room with fireplace (Miam, the magret with wood fire!! or in the small interior garden in summer. Really a pleasure to go there, to two or to family!
