excellent kitchen. family is owner of restaurant and hotel. beautiful furnishings in the sundgauer bauernstil and perfect details: bar with zinc surface from a pariser bistrot, wc with comfortably designed sanitary facilities, engraved discs in the dining room of the restaurant, beautiful cache loins from the atelier fuchs spiess in oltingue, adequate prices, friendly patronne, which speaks lupenreous Sundgauer language. the place is one of the few in the sundgau, which had been spared by the three-year-old war. once again we were able to enjoy the hospitality and the excellent cuisine of carmen and crew. the meat that fries, the fois gras, the 1er grand cru everything was best. only the room temperature was about very fresh and it had a touch of uncomfortableness. 2 degrees warmer and it would have been perfect.
