the steimel is a classic departure place. it is mainly used by hikers to return, but also by masters of nearby places. the menu covers the expectations to the hearty, meaty house kitchen. prices are moderate to favorable. in carvings some variants are also offered as senior teller at a reduced price. that does not bring too high culinary expectations and can live with it that a sauce hollandaise can even come out of the bag is more than exactly there. big plus: the steimel is located on the nrw side of the land boundary rp. no smoking takes place in the spatial areas within.
there are good German kitchens, but sometimes something more unusual. the most popular is the restaurant well because you can not only hike great there, but also enjoy a magnificent view. eating is especially good for my experience, sometimes rather cut. who expects unusual and exquisite cuisine is certainly wrong here. for a nice evening the steimel always invites and the look rewards also for the rather average eating. the prices are normal for the entry point. the interior was rustic during my last visit. perhaps something has changed;
Sehr schön zum rasten nach Wanderung. Gemütlicher Biergarten. Gastraum selber nicht so ansprechend. Schöne Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Essen ist lecker.preis Leistung stimmt. Das einzige was zu bemängeln ist der teilweise schlechte Service. Einige der Mädels sind nicht auf zack man wartet länger um Bestellung aufzugeben und auch mit Getränke Nachschub läuft es nicht so fließend.
Wir sind mehrere Male zum Abendessen draußen gesessen, haben den sehr schönen Ausblick und das leckere Essen genossen. Die Gaststätte ist rustikal und urig.Die Portionen sind durchweg großzügig und schmecken ausgezeichnet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und es ist immer was los.Auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen!
