I was traveling through NorthEastern Michigan and was looking for good food and good beer. Ran across Austin Brothers Beer Company in Alpena. The food and beer menu looked good so I gave it a try....Well I can honestly say the food was fabulous...I had the Roadie burger...it was damn good and hit the spot...I tried a few samples of beer and sours...all were good but the Raspberry Vanilla Porter was my favorite....so much I bought some to take home. All and all the atmosphere was good and the staff was kind and attentive...even though they were slammed for lunch time!!! The price is more than fair for the quality and portions. ALLERGY ALERT The server told me, after she checked with the cook, when attempting to place my order that this restaurant cooks all its menu items on the same flat top. They cook the shellfish on the same flat top as everything else. While they are no longer deep frying the shellfish, I was informed the oil may be a source of cross contamination. I ended up leaving without being able to eat as all menus items may experience cross contamination. Be aware of this restaurant if you have food allergies.

I'm not a beer girl, but it was pleasant! Pulled pork was ok, prime rib sammich and the poutine WAS THE BOMB .COM!!! Update, 9/23/23, awesome food, awesome drinks! Large group , we ordered, pretzel bites, cheese curds, chicken nachos, poutine fries, cheese steak, 2brisket sandwiches and a chicken bacon ranch sandwich. All if it was amazing! And good portions for the price! Also would recommend the peach slush and cherry .

Absolutely unbelievable. Food was delicious and scratch made. I had the sour Bae and one of their beer slushies- perfect for summertime. They were busy but we didn't wait more than 15 minutes and they have an outdoor bar where you can grab a beer while you wait. Reserva una mesa ahora

Ok I tried it one more time , had a NE IPA called Dads shoes . Appropriate. name , that's what it tasted like ! Dry bulled pork sandwich wasn't much better !

Great fast service, awesome beer, the brisket sandwich was so good and the fried pickles yum. On top of that the house made sauces were delicious. 10/10

Go for the beer, stay for the food. There's something for everyone and I've never had a bad meal. My wife especially enjoys the gluten reduced beers.
