Australian Fish & Chip Shop

This is an old-fashioned fish and chip shop with really good food and a great range of choices. It's a bit rough looking inside and out but that doesn't matter - the fish and chips etc are great. We have had yiros several times - it is fresh and delicious. This is a family run shop.The best way to get food is to phone in and collect as it can take a fair wait if you just walk in.

Always a great feed at this shop. Chips are always cooked to perfection. As for the hamburgers, my goodness. Lets say you cant always finish the chips after the hamburger,as much as we try. So filling, and tastes like a proper hamburger with all the trimmings. Yummo. Owners are fantastic people as well, who take pride in what they serve.

For fish and chips, I recommend this place. Chips are crunchy, fish are fresh, service is fast and friendly. I like the little guides they have taped to the counter e.g. how long does each portion of chips take to cook - it sets expectations really well and they provide some seats for those waiting for their food to be prepared.

I recently relocated from Sydney and I absolutely love this place. The prices are great and the quality of the food is amazing. I tried the fish and chips here and it's unlike any other takeout I've had. I highly recommend the grand slam with everything on it. The chips are not greasy and leave you feeling satisfied. The young girl, wearing black, working at 2pm today mady my day. I ordered the 2 flakes with chips and squids (bucket hat). I wanna say I'm very grateful for the awesome service. Felt like I didn't say thank you enough. The shop is clean and well ventilated. Very tasty food as well! Thank you made me day

This is a fantastic place to stop by for some delicious fish and chips before making your way to the stunning Brighton beach. They offer a variety of fish options and the chips were cooked perfectly. The extensive menu is a good excuse for me to return soon and sample more of their dishes.

Staying in Glenelg my partner and I were craving fish and chips and with all the road works we decided to venture out and head into Brighton . Good food with great service and nice to be offered the complimentary tartare sauce
