Being forgotten, though someone brought you to a free table is one thing. Asking for scones and getting something that looks like scones but tastes like a typical German "milk bun" is another issue. If I order a scone, I expect a place like that to be able to deliver what one asks for, and not a pseudo scone. Yes, there was a lot to do for the staff, but seemed like it was not their day.One thing for sure, I doubt we will be going there anytime soon.
This is a lovely quiet place to enjoy well made cocktail or pre...post dinner drink. The staff are professional and polite. Nice cosy corner tables with highbacked chairs make it a nice place to unwind after a busy day. ...but it does get full, especially during trade fairs in Frankfurt, which is wondeful for the bar and hotel but then it is naturally less cosy... Still my favorite bar in Frankfurt to enjoy an Old Fashioned.
Everything a hotel bar should be. So warm and cozy with great waiters, a pianist, comfortable seating, and an extensive cocktail and wine menu. A step back to a kinder, gentler, more elegant time. .

omdat wij here sliepen hebben we de eerste avond gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant. het eten was goed maar niet een keuken waar ik voor om rij. prima wijnen maar ook deze prijzen know ze wel.
the bar with lots of wood is held in English style. drinks were all in order, we did not eat there. the prices are appropriate to the house. unfortunately the service is not the fastest.
was here for a meeting. after that we enjoyed a drink. it is highly recommended and very friendly. a more than classic hotel bar.
