the restaurant is a little hidden from the main part of chateaudun, so they need to search to find it. the interieur is welcoming and yet traditional, with beautiful art on the walls and soothing jazz playing soft in the background. there are several Prixfixe menus, with several choices on medieval recipes (very suitable for chateaudun with its castle and medieval parts of the city). before the first cure we received an amuse louche (creme fraiche with orange vinaigrette). between the curses was a very nice refreshment that was sorbet of apple, basilikum and lemon. without getting too much detail, I can say that my friend one I thoroughly enjoyed the first and main courses. but the desserts...

We wanted to book for dinner on Tuesday, January 17 with a couple of friends, but unfortunately it was impossible. The restaurant is closed as shown on the site, Monday all day and Tuesday noon. However, after several phone calls, a message left because we fall directly on a voice mail, as well as an email with our contact details, we never had the pleasure of having a real contact. So we spent the evening and found that the establishment was also closed on Tuesday night. A telephone message indicating this closure would have been more respectful and would avoid any customers moving for nothing!!!It is very surprising to have a voice mail as a contact in a restaurant. Bonjour. Découverte de ce restaurant que l 'on nous a recommandé. 1ere impression accueil assez froid Durant tout le repas très réservé patron ? serveur ? . Les plats sont décrits au moment de servir mais la plupart du temps obligé de faire répéter parle trop vite et mange les mots . Quand au menu à 37€ Bien sauf pour ma part l 'entrée gnoquis ... rien de spécial pour un restaurant gastronomique . Pas assez de choix entrées que 2 choix plat que 2 choix ... .Cela dit mise en bouche bien intermede fraicheur boule de glace basilic très bien original Gros bémol le café à ... 4.80€ même le simple expresso pas pris.

We have dinner on a Saturday night in this restaurant. The hostess, who was also the waitress, was very welcoming, pleasant, listening and advised us very well. The sumptuous meal with a wide choice of menu.We were entitled to a small post-aperitif soup and an ice ball after entry, without asking anything. Deuxième passage, cette fois avec le menu Apicius, 6 plats surprise . Depuis les picorages d 'apéritif jusqu 'aux mignardises-café tout est fin, léger, subtil, goûteux... une merveille. Une carte des vins financièrement accessibles avec, entre autres, des vins régionaux intéressants. Et cerise sur le gateau : on repars avec une boite de mignardises ! Accueil et service par le Chef, peu de clients ce soir là.

Very good but too long. Arrived at 1 p.m. for a 6-course service, the meat was served at 4 p.m.... far too long a wait between courses and it's a shame because if you wait too long you're no longer hungry and you no longer enjoy it.

A very good restaurant, very pleasant. The dishes are refined and excellent. A special mention for the strawberry mint sorbet!
