Whenever I'm having a hectic day, I like to stop by and treat myself. I usually go for the banana bread, apple cake, orange cranberry scone, red velvet cupcake, or the absolutely divine strawberry shortcake cupcake. I also enjoy the carrot cupcake. Surprisingly, the vegan treats—though I'm not vegan—tend to taste even better than the regular cakes because they're fresh and made with high-quality ingredients. The love and energy infused in the food really help to lift my spirits. I've even started buying them for friends who could use a little boost. We came in to place an order for a birthday party and the owner sat there talking with friends the entire time. We spoke with the young lady at the counter but she stated that our questions could only be answered by Ava. Ava gave no greeting. No question about what we might want. Nothing!We decided to leave due to the poor service. She didn’t even attempt to find out what we needed as we left. I’ve had her baked goods before and they are pretty decent but I don’t patronize businesses with poor customer interactions.Dietary restrictions: Vegan

Wow, just wow! I was blown away by the delicious treats I got at Ava’s Lifeline this week. I went in during the week in the morning as I was craving something sweet, and had a great chat with Ava so was so lovely. She recommended the mini apple cinnamon cake and I also got the strawberry shortcake cupcake, both were absolutely DIVINE! I’ll be back to this neighborhood gem very soon.

Everything was amazing!! My friends and I went and basically tried one of everything and they had something for everyone (my friends aren’t vegan btw, and they LOVED it). The atmosphere was amazing. Every dish I’ve tried at Ava’s Lifeline—strawberry shortcake, lemon loaf, red velvet—is absolutely exceptional! They also offer an incredible spicy hot chocolate and a refreshing kombucha hibiscus lemonade. You’ve got to visit; you won’t be disappointed. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly too!

I had the opportunity to meet the owner, who shared that she's been baking for her entire life. The bakery has been in its current location for three years, and as soon as you step through the door, the delightful aroma hits you. I'm really looking forward to trying the red velvet cupcake!

Today, I placed a pickup order between 5 PM and 6 PM through the Too Good To Go app. I was very disappointed to find the store closed when I arrived. I did receive a refund, but I was looking forward to trying their vegan desserts next time.

Ava's Lifeline offers a delicious menu filled with flavorful and healthy breads and desserts. There are plenty of excellent vegetarian choices, and the menu also caters well to vegan dietary restrictions.
