Caracas Arepa Bar (summer Only)

This is a great spot along the Rockaway boardwalk. Right on the beach a short walk from the NYC Ferry. There are a few different Arepas options, but they are all delicious. Get the sauce....?? They also have great empenadas too. They also serve beer from the Rockaway brewing company, have micheladas and have signature frozen sangrias that hit the spot. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Summer 2022 Place is still amazing, food still tasty and ambiance great. Always a great way to lunch on the beach. The arepas are amazing (surprisingly the best one IMO is the vegan) and slushes are so refreshing and empanadas are full of flavor. Make sure you hit this spot up if the line isn't too long... Or even if it is, it's worth the wait.

Venezuelan food on the beach! For the location and being in New York, the prices are super good! I tasted the Arepas La del gato and Reina pepiada with the Venezuelan beer Polar absolutely refreshing, cold and pilsen type. The service is very fast and the bar is full all the time! I recommend this place!

This restaurant is fantastic, especially if you have a good attitude. It can get busy in the summer, but it's worth it. I first visited in 2018 and had a great time with live music. I loved it so much that I decided to move to the Rockaways a few years later. The frozen sangria is amazing! Reserva una mesa ahora

I've been at the beach several time but I never bothered to get anything from the stand.. little did I know it was Venezuelan Food!!!!! You must try it once your here! I been missing out! the food is amazing!

Fries are okay but 1 dollar for this much sauce??????? They are ripping people off. It's honestly ridiculous. If you're gonna make people pay for sauce at least give them enough to dip all the fries in it.

I've been on the beach several times, but I never got anything from the stand. I didn't know it was Venezuelan food!!!! You have to try as soon as you're here! I missed! the food is amazing!

I tried a vegan pabellon arepa at the Caracas Arepa Bar and it was a delicious and satisfying meal. I will definitely be returning!

The food is delicuous, and also its a really good spot near to the beach. The counter guy was really attentive and kind.
