Avenue Nurseries Garden Centre

this was our first visit to this garden center, and we were very impressed, there was an excellent range of available and the prices compare cheaply with other garden centers we visit. the restaurant was clean and well organized and the staff very pleasant and helpful. eating was good and very cheap. the toilets were immaculately clean and had the advantage that one uses 'proper' toilet paper and not the terrible thin fabric paper that is used by most. there was a very good series of plants, although if they are looking for larger shrubs, this is not the place to go. they had a good selection of fruit trees. there is also an edinburgh woolen mill and the works cans. also a small food area and the metzger. all staff were friendly and helpful.

very satisfied with the service. have dug a planner, its massive but the perfect size for the space we have had no idea how to get home. offer free delivery they did today. fits perfectly, called to keep me on running and bring the plant to the desired location. given the size of the free delivery was on its own faust impressive, but ordered on bank holiday Monday and it was arriving 9:30 Wednesday it was amazingly fast!

I like this garden center and the caffe is also pleasant with a decent menu. besides the prepared meals there is always a good choice of cake. I had a big latte and cake for £5.49 toilets are near and clean / well presented. beautiful place to visit and meet with friends. do good COVID stuffing

A nice place to go with your dog when the sun shines. Not so nice when it is wet or cold as there is no covered area. Always a good selection of plants, cakes, meat and pies plus gardening tools etc.

a good garden center, I think it is an independent so products are a little varied from the mainstream garden centers. worth a visit. cafe is very popular with good meals at a respectable price.
