I have visited this restaurant several times now. I brought my cousin along once, and he really enjoyed it. I have tried both the meat and vegetarian arepas. The service here is exceptional. Recently, I have been dealing with some food allergies, and the staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to ensure that I could still enjoy my meal. They even drew a smiley face on my takeout bag. Everything is made from scratch here, so the wait is definitely worth it. Being gluten-free, I appreciate that they offer gluten-free arepas as well. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!
Authentic Venezuelan food! Clean I stalation, friendly and polite staff! My suggestion to those ones that have tried Ávila Arepa and didn 't like it is to do some research in what 's 'arepas ' before you go. Ávila Arepas is as authentic as it can get! Maybe you 're not use to South American food!! I would recommend it at any time!
Very cute small business. Food felt very authentic and was really good. Chef came and introduced himself to our table and was really helpful with the menu. Ended up trying a lot of the appetizers and no complaints. Would recommend you go in a large group so you can share a lot. Will definitely return!
My wife went to Venezuela about 20 years ago and has spoke very highly of her experiences there. This place brought her back. Unfortunatly we had to take our order to go, but we were not disappointed with the food...it was awesome!! Very flavorful and delicious. We will be back!

Amazing food that offers something for everyone. Meat lovers, vegetarians and gluten free. The decor is a great representation of Venezuela the owners are warm and attentive and are very hands on. Highly recommend Avila Arepa for anyone wanting to treat their tastebuds.
I absolutely adore the flavor, atmosphere, and overall vibe of this restaurant! The staff is so friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable, with meals ranging from $8 to $11 and drinks priced at $2 to $3.
This is my favorite new restaurant in Edmonton! I had 'The Queen ' and the iced tea. So much flavour. Such a nice addition to the Edmonton food scene, and the owner is very friendly too!! I will definitely be going back.
The food and service at this restaurant are amazing. There are plenty of choices for everyone, whether you eat meat, are vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free. I am thrilled that this place is open and can't wait to return!

Crispy and delicious. House made cheese was fantastic. Lots of vegan options and its gluten free. My 2 year old son loved it just as much as we did. This place is going to blow up and be packed soon, don't miss out.
