Looking for a quick place to eat on a recent trip to Fairview, our daughter suggested A&W, a relatively new establishment in town, located conveniently at the end of main street and the highway to Peace River & Grande Prairie. Our orders were taken quickly, and within minutes we were served our orders at our table: poutine, chipotle chicken burger and a mozza burger. All three received good marks for their freshness, flavor and texture. We also ordered the standard Root Beer, a tradition revered. We'd recommend stopping for a quick bite here in Fairview. Not many options for the ride thru breakfast in FV, but I needed a coffee something to eat, service was fast, Hash Brown had a ton of onion ring flavor, which was ok, egg bacon sandwich was fresh, although I am not... a fan of the bungalow they use, small Hamburger Bungalow, my thinking is, they need to improve the rolls, coffee was better than gas station coffee, but it will not win any prizes...
Especially onion rings and hash brown are not very good here. They are much better in Grimshaw, plus, Grimshaw customer service, especially early in the morning, is amazing. This is ok service, but not the level of Grimshaw.

Service has always been fast and friendly and the food has always been hot and delicious. My go-to place to grab a bite to eat when in the area or just passing through.
Stopped here for a quick snack on the way to Peace River. Standard menu items and staff behaviour. Special mention: the restaurant was very clean.
Exactly as you would expect from any A&W! Restaurant was clean and tidy, service was fast, food was hot and fresh. Coffee was great.
I love A & WThey are open the hours they say they are and have never been "closed for system updating" like the other competitor.
