We ate here for lunch. The service was great, but honestly, the food was just ok. I ordered the seafood crepes. Very unimpressive. The crepes were soggy and the filling tasted like canned meat. I was expecting something much better, based on the menu description, but it was barely edible and likely premade and microwaved before serving. My husband didn't mind his chicken sandwich. The ambiance is cool so if you're just going for beers, it's not a bad hang out.

Step one: Assemble all of the ingredients, make sure that they all come from a can. Step two: Barely leave them in the oven long enough to start to melt the top layer of cheese, pull it out so everything else is cold. Step three: Instruct the waitress to never come around and check to see if everything is OK. There you have it the secret recipe for Axe Barrel's Nachos.

I can't offer any opinion on the food or restaurant. However I have sat in the craftbrewery tasting room and I can vouch for thier beer making skills. Excellent all around and a good variety to satisfy all tastes.

Have been here a few times but we quit going as the food and the service were always inconsitant. A burger could be good onetime and not the next; same with the service. We found better places to spend our money.

We're really happy to see the old Log House menu back at the new place. Here's hoping they can recapture that log house vibe and quality from ten years ago, best of luck with the new digs!
