Sat outside as dogs not allowed inside. Very difficult to get out when holding a couple of drinks as the door opens inwards and nowhere really to rest a drink. Luckily a very friendly waitress helped out. Person serving behind the bar was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Tables benches outside had leaves, bird poo and puddles on them suppose it is November! Lovely pub and atmosphere inside, just a shame no dogs inside not even in bar area.
I visited for a birthday breakfast in October with family visiting from Germany. Both Karl and James were excellent hosts, and we enjoyed a delightful breakfast. I highly recommend this place! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5
I really enjoy this pub; it has a beautiful setting. The only downside, which isn’t the pub’s fault, is the kids running around all the time, especially since there’s a play area.
