I recently had an amazing dining experience! We started off with a bottle of Carte Noire Picpoul de Pinet to set the mood. For appetizers, we enjoyed the flavorful Chermoula grilled mackerel fillet with gunpowder potatoes, spring onions, coriander, and chilies. The King prawn ceviche was also a delicious choice, with tomato, lime, cucumber, coriander, guacamole, and crispy fried tortillas. For our main courses, we loved the Orecchiette pasta with cavolo nero, ricotta, lemon, almonds, and parmesan. My first visit to this restaurant was for Sunday lunch. The exterior may not be the most appealing being next to Bargain Booze, but don't be discouraged by that. We arrived at 1pm with only a few other customers, but by 2pm the place was full. This speaks volumes about the excellent quality of the food. I had one of the best roast beef dinners I can remember, followed by a perfect lemon sorbet. The staff was incredibly friendly, with a laid-back attitude but very attentive service. This restaurant offers possibly the best Sunday Roast in the area. They serve a generous portion of meat cooked to perfection, with the option to have it served pink if desired. They also have a fantastic selection of craft beers and wines. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
I highly recommend dining at this restaurant for dinner. The price per person ranges from £30 to £40. The food quality, service, and atmosphere all received perfect scores of 5. A must-try dish is the Fish and Chips.
