More than 2 years ago we live near the limoux and it's just recently that we discovered the Aymeric restaurant. The restaurant room is located at the front of the street wheatriot. just in the back, the specialty store and still in the back the cannery. The menu of the day caught our attention with as an entry a delicious Provencal Terrine on toast followed by a chicken gibelotte with tarragon, served in a small cocotte. The dessert consisted of an original milk rice served in a glass canned jar. The service was fast, the waitress very smiling. A good address to remember!

Popped in on the off chance of getting a table for lunch, the restaurant was extremely busy with locals on their lunch break and we were lucky to get the last table. The food is very good, ranging from a well priced set menu of regional dishes to an a la carte menu offering a greater variety. we will definitely be going again on our next visit to Limoux. Interestingly the restaurant has its own shop selling tins and jars of the offerings on the menu.
this very nice restaurant offers a varied selection of delicious regional dishes at democratic prices and a daily menu (servi only at noon) to 10,90 including entrance, main dish and dessert. After having enjoyed it, you can go to the shop next to the dining room and be tempted by the many quality products on sale at reasonable prices. Advising if you're going through the limoux. A bit out of town but the friendliest service we've experienced with great value lunch food so worth it. Nothing elaborate but the 10,90 euro lunch was just right. Fun going round the shop afterwards. Buzzy and good atmosphere. Plenty more on offer on the menu but we wanted "entry level" lunch quickly.
