Found B 52s online while searching for local 'live music '. Excited to give it a try. Really wanted to love it, but there were some good, some not so good issues. For an 'after 8 ' live music situation, I must say I was somewhat disappointed in the vibe. The lighting was surgically bright! Dimming after 8 might be a wise move. The singer with guitar was great and we enjoyed his songs, although very, very loud amps for this small of a venue. The bar is beautiful and long. The bar stools are top quality as well. We were served right away by a very friendly bar tender. The cocktail I ordered was unfortunately poured light, and the tonic was flat. I mean very flat! But points for extra lime slic...
5 Stars all around! We visited this restaurant last week (Friday for dinner. We were greeted as soon as we entered the door. The hostess was very friendly and told us what the wait time would be. We put our name in and sat in the waiting area. The wait was much faster than the original time we were quoted (which is always a nice thing! They sat us at a table in the front next to the bar and live music. We were worried that the music might be too loud to enjoy dinner. That wasn't the case at this restaurant! This was the 1st time we have been there. I've giving a 3 stars for a few reasons. The waitress never filled our teas, my husband made a point of sitting his on the edge of the table. She didn't even ask if we would like a drink from the bar. We both loved the food however the green beans were seasoned better then the hamburger steak. It was dry and bland. Also if you no longer carry a item on the menu take it off. Wasn't told we were being charged a service fee till we got the check after she took the card. My husband loved the theme with the dedication to the veterans.
Place is small but they manage to move around easily. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Kids an adults can go here. A bit expensive but the food comes out hot an ready an the alcoholic drinks are made strong.. I really can't complain about the place. My honest opinion is that I don't care much for the food prices, an food but I would eat there again an drink.. The owner came around an shook our hands an everyone asked an checked on us in a nice manor. The waiters was nice. On Tuesdays this lady comes in an gives/makes balloon animals for the kids. Our first visit to the Bar Grill was a fantastic experience. The service, particularly from Ashley, was quick and friendly. The food was delicious, especially the Patriot burger that we ordered, which was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was welcoming and paid tribute to veterans, with a Veterans Wall displaying photos of local servicemen. The pub chips were also outstanding - very crunchy as advertised on the menu. We definitely plan on coming back.
This restaurant is fantastic! The ambiance is lovely and they pay tribute to Service Men and Women. The food is reasonably priced, fresh, and delicious. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have a bar for drinks and offer live music on the weekends. We had to wait about 30 minutes, but there is a comfortable waiting area inside if there's space. The fried pickles were some of the best we've ever had.
Can't believe we've been passing this place up for all this time! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with the menu and knew we where new there, you could tell he knew his locals! Their homemade cheese sticks are wow and fried pickles where great as well! The Ribeye was perfectly prepared and the daughters food was great as well! We will be back for sure, great to see everything going on around town! Support Local!!!!!!
I give 5 stars overall, however. Burgers are big on their menu. I love a good burger, but they won't cook it below medium well.. I tried it, it's way to cooked and the meat quite dry... Not sure why they won't cook even at medium.. The live music Friday nite was great. Waitress was wonderful, we will be back but not ordering the burgers.. ?

I decided to try this restaurant for the first time and was not disappointed. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend it!
